Nasheed Smith started boxing when he was 9 years old. He is now a 5-time national champion in the amateurs and ended his amateur career as the number 1 fighter in the country. He has been an Olympic trials participant, USA National champion, 2-time Junior Olympic champion, and Golden Glove National champion. He is representing DC Destroyers.
