Michael Dawson started boxing when he was 3 years old. Later in his amateur career, he found out that has had a condition called internal compartment syndrome, which didn’t allow him to compete for more than 2 rounds. Thankfully, Dawson got surgery for it and was out for a year before being able to compete again. Now, he feels that he has what it takes to be a world champion in the future.
