Bio

KeAndrae “Lightning Leatherwood” started boxing out of Cincinnati, Ohio in late 2000. He's been boxing for 23 years and has been professional for 15 years. After only a year of competition, he placed second at the National Silver Gloves. In 2005, Lightning Leatherwood won the National and international Junior Olympics. He also won a bronze medal in the under 19s and the state and regional titles every year from 2001 to 2008 as well as competed in every annual National competition. As an amateur, he was National Silver Gloves runner-up silver medalist, National Silver Gloves semi-finalist, bronze medalist, National Junior Olympics champion gold medalist, Junior Olympics champion gold medalist, USA boxing's athlete of the month, and under-19s semifinalist bronze medalist. In June 2008, Lightning Leatherwood turned professional. He has been in the ring with top-ranked fighters – future and former world Champions. His record stands at 23-8-1. In 2008, he was Mid-South champion. On May 20, 2022, he became the IBA Americas Champion in the super middleweight class.
