Born in Nigeria, Afunwa King, the "Lion King," has been boxing since when he was 20. He has taken a lot of tough guys in his amateur fights, which has helped him improve rapidly. In 2018, he was Golden Gloves champion. He loves boxing and wants to fight with the best guys. Currently, he has 6-1 pro fights, it was tough for him to defeat 5 guys in a row. He is ready to do more than that and says it's his pleasure to fight for the TCL. He appreciates that fighting in the TCL is a completely different experience, but he loves it.
