Team Combat
League

TCL is an organization of firsts. We are the world’s only boxing league with a franchise team format. We are the only major sports league to feature active members of both genders on the same team.

Our inaugural season will feature six teams across the continental United States fighting a combined of 36 matches over 12 weeks in Mohegan Sun, CT. The top four teams will then square off in a one-night semi-final doubleheader to see which two will represent their city in the TCL Mega Brawl.

How It
Works

Team Combat League competitions employ a unique and exclusive point scoring system. Each match contains 18 three-minute rounds of nonstop action. Teams compete across six weight categories, five male and one female. Each round is scored individually with additional points added for knockouts and knockdowns. There are 3 judges appointed by a licensed boxing commission.

A round that features a knockdown is scored 10-8 to the winner and any round in which there is two knockdowns or a stoppage is scored 10-7 for the winner. It’s not rocket science, at the conclusion of the 18 rounds, the team with the most points wins!

How It
Works

Our competitions employ a unique and exclusive point scoring system. Every match is 24 rounds (3 minutes each) of nonstop action with approximately 1 minute between each round. After the first 12 rounds, there is a 10 minute half-time.

Teams compete across six weight categories; five male and one female. There are 3 Judges. Each round is scored individually. 3 points are awarded for unanimous decisions, while a split decision would be 2 points for the winner of the round’s team and 1 point to the loser. Additional points are awarded for each judged knockdown with a maximum of 6 points for a round stoppage. At the conclusion of the 24 rounds, the team with the most points wins.
